Project Overview
Panacea Building Systems, working alongside their sister company McGoff Group Facilities Services, played a key role in delivering a fast-track refurbishment of the Premier Inn at Blackpool South Pier as part of Whitbread PLC’s “Accelerating Growth Plan.” The project involved the full strip-out and refurbishment of a 2-storey hotel, transforming the internal layout and upgrading facilities to meet modern hospitality standards within a highly compressed programme.
Scope of Works
Panacea Building Systems delivered a comprehensive internal and external package, including:
Full strip-out and refurbishment works in coordination with the main contractor, McGoff Group Facilities Services
Formation of new bedrooms using structural Metsec SFS studs
Installation of SFS suspended ceiling joists
Specialist drylining systems
Suspended ceiling installations
Plaster finishes throughout
External rendering works
The refurbishment covered:
15 guest bedrooms
Restaurant and food & beverage areas
Back-of-house utility and service spaces
