Project Overview

Newcare commissioned the development of a new 70-bed care home in Grappenhall, Warrington. The project required an innovative structural approach combining multiple roof systems and tailored engineering solutions, all delivered within a controlled and efficient programme. 

Scope of Works

Panacea Building Systems was responsible for both the structural frame and the full internal drylining package. The project comprised: 

  • Panacea Building Systems innovative Metframe structural system across three storeys  

  • Combination roof design featuring timber trussed roof sections and metal joisted roof cassettes 

  • Superstructure completed within just under 14 weeks 

  • Full building-wide drylining package, including walls and ceilings
