Newcare commissioned the construction of a modern 70-bed care home in Worsley, Manchester. The project required a fast and efficient structural approach, with Panacea Building Systems tasked with delivering the complete Metframe superstructure and specialist internal works. 

Scope of Works

This project included the delivery of a 3-storey care home, constructed using Panacea Building Systems specialist Metframe system. Key elements included:   

  • Metframe structural system across three floors 

  • Timber trussed roof

  • Record-breaking 9-week superstructure programme  

  • Full installation of internal partitions, passive fire protection systems and specialist suspended ceilings 

Outcome

  • The completed care home now provides Newcare with a modern, safe and high-quality facility built to meet the needs of residents and staff.
